Welcome

Welcome to The Mixed Martial Arts Zone

There is little doubt that the MMA arena of fighting is coming into it's own in the 21st century...reminiscent of the hand-to-hand combatants of old Greece it's almost a cliche' in that
' history repeats itself '. Personally I think of all the sports it is perhaps the most artistic expessionist outside of the Olympics themselves. Like a violent ballet...the performance outweighs the violence and that is what makes it acceptable to a mainstream audience, In my opinion...the UFC. IFL, Pride...are becoming more popular than Boxing or Kickboxing because MMA is more than just hitting your opponent...it is a display of many skills...and many ways to take advantage of an opponents weaknesses...it wouldn't surprise me in the least if MMA becomes the next Major League Sport behind Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Hockey!
